PLANNING AND PREPARATION: 

1) Time required for preparation: One hour daily one week before the event. A team of at least 10 members will be set up. 

2) Information or notices to be sent: 
  • To parents inviting them to have darshan and participate in the celebration
  • To alumni seeking their cooperation in organizing/participating in the event
3) Approvals and Consents required:
  • Permission from local authorities for procession 
  • Parent consent in case children have to stay back after school for practice 
4) Materials required: 

Flowers, mandap set up, Ganesha idol / photo, decorative materials, small chariot (for day 5), stage set up, posters, banners, turmeric, Kumkum, clay (to be bought by students), prizes for the competition 

5) Financial Requirements: A budget to be drawn and approval obtained in advance 

6) Other requirements: 

  • Cut outs/posters / banners in the school premises (formats attached)
  • Mandap set up for idol installation 
  • Small chariot for the procession
  • Stage set up for cultural activities
