Veera and Renu are middle school Math teachers. Their HM asked them to come up with an idea for improving the mathematics skills of classes 6, 7, and 8 students in their school. The two teachers spent a lot of time researching online and had several meetings. They read about mathematics activities conducted in many schools, studied many sources of information in-depth, and decided that they should conduct a Math-Week for middle school once every semester. They made a detailed plan of what activities they would have at the event, who will be invited, who will help them with the preparations, the time it will take for preparations, the budget, and many such details.

The teachers took their plan proposal to the HM, gave it to him and he asked them to come back after school and meet him for 15 minutes. After reading the Math-Week plan fully, the HM told them that he appreciated how much work they have put into the plan. however, he could not accept the plan because they had missed out on one important detail: what are the learning objectives they propose to achieve by organizing the event? The HM said that is sad that they will have to do all the work all over again, this time, they will list specific learning outcomes for each class and then plan activities for 1 week to help students attain those objectives.

What should Veera and Renu think about this review and what should they do?
