Bright and happy future is only possible when we pledge to conserve energy in every way possible. Saving energy reduces air and water pollution and conserves natural resources which in turn creates a healthier living environment for people everywhere.

How do we save energy? By simple living. Other than man, no other animal converts nature into different forms for convenience. The more we convert natural forms into conveniences like furniture, cars, roads etc the more we use energy. Can we learn to use the nature in its pristine form? I saw a video of a keralite who stays in a mud house, does not have an electricity connection. He only uses day light, natural ventilation, no fridge etc. At least we can walk to nearby places, minimise furniture/ clothes and in fact everything. What swami says ceiling on desires then we not only conserve energy we grow our spiritual energy
